Sad Beagle Showing off His Boo Boo Will Make Your Heart Swell With Love

Awww, Louie! Someone get the doctor — STAT. The Beagle had something terrible wrong with him, a boo boo! Oh, the humanity! The dog was pouting so hard as he showed his mama his “injury.” What a brave boy! Looks like he’s going to need lots and lots of attention. Yep, that’s surely the cure.

I don’t know how the pupper got his boo boo, but he looked so sad in the clip. Louie was really going through it. I’m surprised the Beagle could stand it

Louie was the center of attention as he showed his mama his injury. And I’m using the term injury very loosely here. The Beagle held up his little paw to his family and showed them where it hurt. Everyone was so concerned!

“What happened buddy?!” his dad asked from behind the camera.

“Louie, what is it?” his mom said. The woman then tenderly picked up the dog’s paw and gave it some light pets. Don’t worry, little guy. Mom is here and she’ll make it all better. The woman used her magic powers to help the Beagle through his crisis. He didn’t even want to let her put his paw down!

It seemed like nothing was going to cure Louie’s pain. Until Mom said the magic words: “Do you think a treat would make it better?”

Would it! The dog’s eyes suddenly perked up. Guess he was finally cured!

What a relief. So many people in the comments section were thankful that the dog was a-okay.

“It’s a miracle! He’s been healed!” joked one commenter.

“He was working up a tear, then you mentioned treats,” someone else pointed out.

“Whew I was just about to call 911,” one person teased.

“Hollywood, here I come,” one commenter quipped.

Do Dogs Fake Injuries for Attention?

Anyone who has a dog knows that Louie isn’t the only pup to use an “injury” to get a little TLC. But do dogs really pretend to be hurt for attention?

In short, yes. Dogs are quick studies and can realize that walking with an injury or limp will get them treats or attention. That doesn’t, however, mean that they understand they are “faking an injury.” It’s more like they understand that showing certain behaviors reap rewards!
