Everyone knows dogs are more than capable of learning cool tricks. They’re also not shy about showing them off on command. But cats, who are extremely intelligent, can learn, too, if given the chance to shine.
One Black Kitten is proving my point with an impressive balancing feat that takes skill to new heights. He may be small, but give this mighty little guy a ball three times his size and he’ll blow any dog’s performance out of the water.

Let me introduce you to the cutest void, Pantalaimon. This rescue kitten’s been practicing a sweet move for weeks, and he wants to share it with the world. Make sure you clap when he’s finished!
The video shared by @kellpetspets is 16 seconds of pure fun. As someone who’s clumsy and lacking grace when it comes to any kind of balance, I’m kind of jealous! The level of focus it requires to control the gigantic ball (without falling) deserves more than a few Temptations—and hundreds of people agree.
“Showing this to my cat, whose only trick is knowing if he breathes his hot fish breath on me, I’ll get up,” one person joked in the comments. “Meanwhile, my cat’s licking an outlet,” another added. “Not to brag, but my cat fell into her water dish from a seated position yesterday,” another shared.

Clicker Training Is One Cat’s Legacy
As amazing as Pantalaimon is, there was another talented kitty before him who performed daily with Mom—it’s how they bonded. With the use of clicker training, Brisco learned some incredibly impressive tricks that go beyond balancing on a ball. Now that he’s passed, the new kitty is carrying the legacy in the sweetest way, and it all began with Brisco’s bell.

Pantalaimon still has a lot of life left to live and more tricks to learn in his late brother’s honor. I have no doubt he’ll crush whatever Mom throws at him because already, he’s a force to be reckoned with.
