Followers of famed foster mom Isabel Klee have been watching the progress of her latest fur baby, Whimsy the Pit Bull. Whimsy was found in horrible condition — covered in blood and feces and completely emaciated. Klee fully dedicated herself to helping this precious pooch heal both physically and mentally as her massive TikTok following witnessed Whimsy’s beautiful transformation.
Klee just posted that she was passing the leash to Whimsy’s new forever family and fans of the canine cutie are having a lot of feelings.
In the TikTok from @simonsits, Klee sat in the car as they were headed to Muddy Paws Rescue to bring Whimsy to her new family.
“Today is the day of Whimsy’s adoption meeting,” Klee said, smiling in the car as she pet Whimsy in the backseat. “It has been 5 to 6 weeks with Whimsy and it has been a whirlwind. A lot of highs, a lot of lows.”
The foster dog needed an extra amount of love and understanding, which Klee and her fiancé gladly gave in abundance. Whimsy got overstimulated at times living in their Brooklyn home, where Klee worked with a trainer to help her through her challenges. The sweet pooch was also in dire need of nutrition and has steadily gained weight under Klee’s care. Through it all, Klee’s devotion was unwavering and Whimsy consistently showed her heart of gold.
“We have grown so much together and we have learned so much from her,” the animal advocate remarked.
Whimsy Has a New Forever Home
A young couple sat in Muddy Paws Rescue as Whimsy walked in and greeted them with loving eyes and tail wags.
“She has the gentlest soul,” Klee told the couple, explaining that the pooch would be better off outside of a city and in a quiet environment. “She’s the sweetest girl. She loves to snuggle.”
Whimsy instantly took to the couple, where the young man gave the delighted dog treats as they got more acquainted. She even jumped up on him in excitement to give him a hug. The couple brought Whimsy a fancy new sweatshirt to welcome her into their family. She scampered around as she proudly modeled her new threads.
The adoption was finalized and Whimsy’s tail never stopped wagging. The last scene in the video showed Whimsy fully snuggled in her dad’s arms on the way to her forever home. Followers of Whimsy’s journey were both thrilled and emotional over her heartwarming story.
“I held it together until I saw Whimsy and her dad snuggling in the car,” one wrote.
“Did not plan on sobbing at 8:37 AM on a Wednesday. Congratulations, Whimsy!” another cheered.
“I’m crying at work – so happy for Whimsy,” a follower shared.
“So many of us from around the world are invested in Whimsy’s forever home,” someone noted.
Fans also praised Klee for the unmatched love and care she provides for these dogs in need. She posted a caption to let followers know a little more about Whimsy’s new home.
“Whimsy now lives in a quiet neighborhood in New Jersey with a huge fenced in backyard, no other animals, and her incredible new parents — couldn’t have asked for a better home for our girl,” the caption revealed. “Thank you to @Muddy Paws Rescue and @Animal Care Centers of NYC for saving Whimsy’s life.”
