Here are some organizations that can help you get your dog certified. It is not a complete list.

Alliance of Therapy Dogs – therapydogs.com

An international registry of certified therapy dog teams based in  Cheyenne, Wyoming. It provides testing, certification, registration, support, and insurance for members who volunteer with their dogs in animal-assisted activities.

Coastline K9 – coastlinek9.com/therapy-training.

Therapy dog training focuses on obedience, calmness, and controlled socialization to meet certification standards. Coastline K9 specializes in other canine programs.

Provides education and community outreach in support of the mission through therapy and ambassador dog programs.

The program is through the American Kennel Club. Certification allows visits to nursing homes, hospices and children’s hospitals.
