Growing up with a sibling can go one of two ways: you’re rivals who are bound to destroy each other, or inseparable. My brother and I definitely fall into the destruction zone (said with love). There’s also a third way: when close siblings engage in all-out war, and then get over it as quickly as it started.
Tabby cat brothers Chip and Louie usually communicate through a really cool secret handshake that has garnered them a hefty following. But recently, their typical interaction spiraled into the first “fight,” and it’s one of the quietest, cutest, low-combat battles you’ll ever see!

When you spend as much time together as these two felines, things are bound to go down at some point. It can’t be rainbows and sunshine every day. Chip and Louie are proof, with a lowercase fight for the ages.
Usually, Chip and Louie perform their secret handshake so on point that they look like mirror images! They seem to employ similar techniques when it comes to battling. Louie, the bigger boy with crossed eyes, tends to be the one who instigates things, but this time, little bro Chip took the lead.
Mom couldn’t believe she caught the two of them standing up and using both paws on camera. She explained they never let her get too close when they’re in the middle of performing their secret handshake “ritual.” The lovable brothers are always on their best behavior and adore each other, so this is quite the funny sight!

Chip and Louie Have a Language All Their Own
It’s true that the brothers, born in the same litter, have always communicated with their special handshake, and it’s something that mystifies Mom. The Tabby cats are friendly, affectionate, and cuddly boys on a typical day, and their handshakes happen whenever they so choose.
I wish to one day find the person I can do this with because it’s all the #friendshipgoals in the world!
Whatever the kitties disagreed about, they squashed it once they noticed Mom recording. Knowing the way my brother and I used to go at it, that would stop us, too! Today’s a new day and another chance to shake paws in the most epic way ever (hopefully with no more arguments)!
