Sherlock is an English Bulldog who wants to be treated like the king of the castle. The precious pup proves he is just that in a charming video shared to social media showing he has his humans wrapped around his finger (er, paw).
In the lighthearted social media video captioned “Spoiled? This boy? Never,” Sherlock can be seen nestled into his human dad’s arms as dad walks him home from the park. The exhausted pup is too tired to walk but still clings to his beloved red frisbee without letting go.
The average English Bulldog weighs somewhere around 40–50 pounds, giving Sherlock’s dad a hearty load to carry all the way home—but Sherlock looks completely content being carried like royalty and shows no signs of giving up the prime real estate on dad’s shoulder.
Sherlock has already gained legions of fans fully in support of his diva behavior.
“In all fairness he is carrying the Frisbee,” quipped one commenter. “Adorably cute,” wrote another.
“Ah yes, the last-minute: ‘I give up and won’t walk anymore’ flops,” shared another.

Why Bulldogs Like Sherlock Sometimes Prefer a Lift
Bulldogs don’t need intense exercise to stay healthy; this low-energy breed does well with moderate walks or light play. Because of their flat, short muzzles, they can struggle with breathing and are prone to overheating or respiratory issues if over-exerted. For a pup like Sherlock, being carried may just be a way to stay comfortable—and easy on the lungs—while still enjoying a family outing.
