Golden Retrievers Can’t Stop Smiling While Modeling Their Halloween Costumes

Welcome to Jurassic Bark! Two puppers were so in love with their Halloween costumes this year. And we sort of think Dr. John Hammond would approve. The Goldens were dressed like some of the scariest creatures we can think of — dinosaurs! And the Golden Retrievers couldn’t stop smiling while wearing their adorable dino outfits.

Just like us humans, Lola and Luca love to celebrate the Halloween season. They had to dress up! But the biggest treat is seeing these two really reveling in their costumes this year. Yeah, their humans really did a good job!

Getting to dress your dogs up for Halloween is one of the purest joys as a pet parent. It’s simply the best. But we have to admit that these two puppasauruses really have us cheesin’. They’re so stinkin’ adorable. The Golden Retrievers looked like a couple of raptors — but the nice kind that probably wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Lola and Luca absolutely knew they were crushing their costumes this year. The dogs were so happy in the video shared online. The Goldens were panting with joy. It’s not even October 31 yet, but they are certainly ready to trick-or-treat.

That’s probably why their human declared them the “smiliest dinos,” — we have to agree!

Normally, a pair of dinosaurs would have people totally spooked. But people in the comments section were thrilled to see these dinos having fun.

“Oh sweet. When did Jurassic Bark open?” joked one person.

“This video is going to cure my seasonal depression,” someone else teased.

“Omg where have you two been my whole life. I’m in love,” one commenter gushed.

While another commenter had a different guess as to who these two could be: “You can’t fool me. Those are FAIRY GODPARENTS!!!!!!” they exclaimed.

Pet Costumes for Halloween

Sure, pet costumes are so darn adorable. But you do need to make a few considerations before purchasing one for your pup. For one, make sure that the costume is dog-safe and the right size. A costume that is too small is never a good idea as it could choke your pup and they will be absolutely miserable.

Never leave your pet unattended while in their costume, as they can sometimes chew off parts and choke. Let your pet get used to the costumes a few days before putting them on. If your dog isn’t feeling it, don’t force the costume. We know it’s so cute to see them dressed up! But your dog’s safety and happiness should always come first.
