Maine Coon Dad’s Look of Horror the First Time He Realizes Newborn Kittens Are His Is a Riot

You know love at first sight? Well, what’s the opposite of that? That was the look that one cat gave his newborn kitten after realizing that yes, he was their father! The Maine Coon Cat was not loving fatherhood. His face really did say so much.

Guess no one told the Maine Coon Cat that he was a parent because he looked pretty surprised at the litter of kittens in his home. It’s a shame because he doesn’t exactly seem thrilled to see them.

Who could say no to these adorable kittens? Well, the Maine Coon Cat for one. The cat looked like he was ready to leave the house when he walked by and saw all those little cats. There were so many of them! But none of their cuteness seemed to charm the Maine Coon, who looked at them with complete disdain.

It almost seemed like the Maine Coon really wanted to check that they were his, despite the fact that they look exactly alike. The cat took a good look at them to see if they were his kiddos. Yep, those were definitely his babies.

Don’t worry. Mom is in the picture and she was more than ready to take over when Dad left the room. A mother’s work is never complete!

Tsk tsk tsk. He probably won’t win any awards for parenting, but he did have people in the comments section cracking up.

“You can see her counting the babies after dad walks out,” joked one person.

“He’s like one, two, three…. how am I gonna pay for all these kids?” teased another commenter.

“Oh no, the child support…” quipped someone else.

“Dad’s like, ‘I want a DNA test,’” added another commenter.

How Many Kittens Are in a Litter?

These kittens are so adorable. And there are so many of them too! How many kittens are in a litter anyway? Well, there’s no set number of kittens in a litter, but on average cats can usually have somewhere between four and six kittens. Again, this can vary based on breed or the cat. But it’s also very normal to have a big litter like the one in the clip!
