If I’ve learned anything from watching a lot of Dachshund videos, it is that they are quite a clingy breed.

These Velcro dogs like to be INVOLVED!

That can mean sitting on their human’s face, being under their human’s jacket, being kept in a body sling while their human cooks, and in the case of this video, being a part of their at-home workout.

That is very much the case in this video from the @princesspennythewein account.

The adorable Dachshund pup, aka Princess Penny, is very curious as to why her mom is lying on her back on a mat with strange pink things around her ankles (Bala weights).

First, her mom gives her a little kiss as if to say, “I’ll see you later after my workout,” but Penny doesn’t agree with that sentiment.

Little Penny crawls right under her mom’s elevated backside.

The caption hilariously reads, “How do I get out of here?”

But once Penny finds her way out, she is now quite comfortable running around while her mom continues to try to work out.

She also brings her yellow toy into the mix and then decides she’d like to sit on the laptop playing the workout.

Cut to Penny discovering her mom’s bright pink ankle weights, which are now perfectly at jumping height.

While her mom is doing downward dog, Penny decides it is time for a kiss, and her mom obliges.

Now her mom is kneeling and then leaning back, and Penny is ready to playfully attack.

Now, Dad intervenes and tosses a little blanket on Penny, but she continues to persevere.

Finally, the workout comes to an end, and her mom removes her pink Bala bangles, to which the caption—aka Penny’s inner monologue—says, “Finally, my toys come off her ankles.”

Not sure Penny’s mom will be trying to do that again!

Clearly, this little gal can charm anyone, as she even met famous dog lover Lisa Vanderpump and charmed her. Take a look.

Of course, Lisa never had to work out with Penny!
