Most of the time, I’m pretty sure that I’m way more jealous of my dog than she is of me. Between the fact that she gets to spend her days napping in a cozy bed, and her biggest problems include whether she’d rather bark at the neighbors while standing watch at the front door or if she’d rather play with her toys, she lives a pretty cushy life.
There are some things that we get to enjoy that dogs don’t, though… like a fun day out shopping on the weekend. Unless, of course, you’re the Pomeranian mix puppy in the TikTok video below, who seems to be having the time of his life on a shopping spree with Mom.
This adorable footage shared by @teddys.wrlld shows a puppy named Teddy taking his time checking out all the toy displays at the pet store. It’s easy to tell that he’s having a good time—look how hard that tiny tail is wagging!
“Not rushing him, because this is his Ulta,” his mom wrote in the caption.
As someone who could lose hours of her life browsing every shelf, every makeup palette, and every tiny container of skincare serum at Ulta, I couldn’t agree more. It’s good to let Teddy browse!

Dog-Friendly Stores
Of course, your local dog-friendly stores that will welcome you and your pup in for a shopping spree of your own are going to vary, but there are a few chains that are found all over the U.S. that you can check out!
Pet stores are (obviously) going to be the best bet. Chains including PetSmart, Petco, and Pet Supermarket are safe to bring your four-legged family members to browse for as long as they’d like.
Outside of pet stores, though? Michael’s craft stores are dog-friendly, and so are stores including Bass Pro Shops, Old Navy, and HomeGoods (though it’s never a bad idea to call your location ahead of time to double-check).
Happy shopping!
