But rather than scratching a back, Penny is providing a gentle massage in exchange for a bit of Buck’s dinner. These two sure have life figured out.
In a super-sweet video from TikTok, we meet Buck and Penny, a pair of pets who’ve struck an adorable deal that will melt your heart. Take a look! (Penny may have been a massage therapist in another life!)
“So this is Buck and his girlfriend, Penny. They have an understanding. She gives him a massage, and he shares his food and water. It’s become a regular occurrence. You just love who you love,” the duo’s pet parent writes.

Honestly, who can resist a massage? And on the flip side, it’s always nice to have an extra snack, isn’t it? These two could give lessons in compromise.
I don’t know about you, but I always love seeing a dog and a cat get along, especially after growing up with cartoons where we’re constantly told that these pets are arch enemies. It’s really heartwarming and a lesson that we can always make things work if we’re willing to find a way.
