Puppy Party Bus Hosts Halloween Costume Contest and We Are Obsessed

Even though Halloween has technically passed for this year, this awesome doggy daycare bus hosted a costume contest for their canine clients—and it’s just too cute to let the season go by without mentioning it.

All week leading up to the big day, Ruff and Puff Doggie Day Camp loaded up their school bus with their favorite witches, ghosts, cowboys, and even a lion to celebrate Halloween with a trip to the pups’ favorite dog park. One sweet pup mom even provided spooky and delicious Halloween-themed cookies for the dogs to munch on.

As the pups climb into their seats, the theme song from Ghostbusters is playing in the background of the video clip. We also get an up-close view of some of the contestants, including a Golden Retriever in a sparkly showgirl costume, a Black Lab hiding behind the darkness of his Batman mask, and—my personal favorite—a Doodle dressed as Chucky!

As the Instagram video posted by @ruffandpuffyyc continues to roll, we meet a football-playing Chocolate Labrador, a German Shepherd dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and Superman disguised as a Golden Retriever.

There are over 3k comments on this video alone, so it’s clear these pups have tons of fans out there. Here are a few highlights:

“OMG! ❤️ I just wonder what they think when they look at each other!” 😂

“I love them all, but Dorothy, the pineapple, and the showgirl are pretty sweet. Thanks for sharing!”

“Okay, as scared as I am of Chucky, he stole my heart! Wait!! I guess that is exactly what Chucky would do! 😂 His little pose is so cute! Also, showgirl is always fab!”

Several pet parents went with food-themed costumes, including a pumpkin, a pineapple, of course, a hot dog, and even an avocado. This was one creative bunch, and in my opinion, there’s no way to pick a favorite, but what do you think?
