Beneath it all is a couple of square feet of flooring that makes you wonder if any of the carefully prepared finger food actually made it into the tiny human it was intended for.
Now — imagine that scenario, but swap the toddler for a pack of hungry puppies. Such was the case at Shanny & Corson’s Golden Retriever Home, and it was all captured on camera.
In a TikTok video, one can see the chaos left in the wake of 10 golden retriever puppies, who are at various stages of their post-breakfast coma. As mom visits the pack, a few get up to whine and say hello, while many of their siblings are just too exhausted to even lift a paw.
TikTok user @shanny.corson.gol shared the adorable clip with the caption, “Post breakfast crash #goldenretrieverlife#cuteoverload#fyp.” In what looks like a puppy double-wide, the camera pans around the post-mealtime mayhem. There are several food dishes in various stages of emptiness, some with puppies atop them, even. Some pups begin to stir when they notice the human visitor, perhaps hoping for playtime or pets. One notable fluff-ball remains absolutely slumped against a corner and gets his own close-up, which fans are responding to in the comments.
The Post-Feast Fallout Looks Suspiciously Like a Hangover
The video has been viewed over 16 thousand times, and hilarious comments are comparing the puppy crash to the morning after a wild night of partying.
One user wrote, “cause they went on a breakfast bender 🤣.”
Another chimed in with, “🎶we went out last night, like we swore we wouldn’t do🎶,” quoting lyrics from Kenny Chesney’s beer-drinking anthem, “Out Last Night.”
Another called out the passed-out pup against the wall with, “I think the other baby in the corner is still hungover.”

Another user took a moment to remind viewers of the realities of puppy life: “Puppies are cute, but SO much work. I can say no to having a puppy, dog, kitten & cats. They are like human babies, so adorable, but false advertisement.
