Wait for me, wait for me!<\/em> You might remember how hard it was to keep up with the grown ups when you were little. Now imagine that you\u2019re a baby elephant. Grown up elephants are so big! One woman caught a weeks-old elephant crossing the street with her herd of adults and was so smitten. It was the cutest little elephant she’d ever seen.<\/p>\n Los Angeles based photographer Alex was stunned that she caught the moment on camera. Seeing the herd pass by would have been so incredible on its own, but this little one made it even more special.<\/p>\n Alex was vacationing in the Serengeti in Africa when she was stopped in her tracks, literally. The elephants took their time crossing in front of her. There were so many of them! I don\u2019t know about you, but this seems like it was way better than seeing one or two elephants at the zoo. You were seeing tons of them! But then she spotted a teeny, tiny elephant amongst them and was practically swooning. It\u2019s almost hard to spot the sweetie \u2014 everyone else is so large!<\/p>\n \u201cThe most incredible safari experience in the Serengeti,\u201d she wrote in the caption. \u201cWhat a dream!\u201d<\/p>\n Alex wasn\u2019t alone. The comments section was just as amazed!<\/p>\n \u201cThats not that sma- OH MY GOODNESS,\u201d joked one person.<\/p>\n \u201cI would\u2019ve broken down in ugly sobs. There is something so beautiful about an elephant herd with littles,\u201d chimed in another person.<\/p>\n \u201cElephants are such a gift to the world. My heart hurts knowing some people out there actually take fun in hurting these innocent babies,\u201d wrote another commenter.<\/p>\n \u201cOooohhh that\u2019s a fresh one!\u201d one person quipped.<\/p>\n This baby is truly so small, I had to know what kind of elephant she was! There are a few kinds of elephants at Serengeti, and at Serengeti National Park<\/a> you can specifically see African Bush elephants, African Savannah Elephants, and Asian elephants.
