With the government shutdown not really having an end in sight, the chance your flight takes off on time these days is slim.<\/p>\n
Then once you get on the plane, you have to deal with, you know, the horror that is flying.<\/p>\n
However, sometimes we see amazing things on flights, and it restores our faith in humanity for a bit.<\/p>\n
That is what happened here, in this short video from influencer Abby Baffoe<\/a>, who recently took a flight with her adorable Dachshund<\/strong> puppy, Lady.<\/p>\n Baffoe wrote a caption to start the video saying, “These flight attendants were obsessed with my dog and kept coming to steal her.”<\/p>\n Cut to one flight attendant holding Lady and getting lots of kisses from her.<\/p>\n Then Baffoe cuts to another flight attendant, who has taken Lady to the back of the plane.<\/p>\n Eventually, they do bring her back to her seat in her bag, but they were so happy to spend time with a cute puppy during their workday.<\/p>\n Could that be any sweeter?<\/p>\n You may be wondering why this little dog was allowed to be out of her carrier during the flight.<\/p>\n Well, it really depends on which flight attendants are working your flight that day. <\/p>\n Clearly, these flight attendants loved having Lady out and about.<\/p>\n However, if she were a Golden Retriever<\/strong><\/a>, they may not have been able to carry her back and forth.<\/p>\n I was once on a 40-minute, half-empty flight to Martha’s Vineyard with my Yorkiepoo<\/a><\/strong> puppy, and my dog was desperate to get out of the carrier and just sit in my lap, but the flight attendants wouldn’t allow it.<\/p>\n It just really depends.<\/p>\n These airlines allow dogs in the cabin, but each has specific regulations and rules for pet travel, so definitely read up on them before you book.<\/p>\n Related: Bougie Dachshund Curls up For a Nap on Her Private Flight<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The following airlines allow flying with dogs in the cabin:<\/p>\n Tradewind Aviation (semi-private)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n And if you want to travel with lots of dogs and have them out and about in the cabin, there is also the semi-private BARK Air.<\/p>\n BARK Air<\/a> is a dogs-first airline founded in 2024.
