The birds have a full conversation before Sweet Pea raises her crest<\/a> to show she\u2019s happy in the company of her new beau.<\/p>\n Sweet Pea\u2019s human mom, TikTok user Wendy Albright,<\/strong> regularly shares content of her precious bird, earning the Cockatoo legions of fans.<\/p>\n \u201cSweet Pea makes me cry every time,\u201d wrote one of the bird\u2019s adorers. Cockatoos exhibit a variety of attention-getting behaviors to earn the adoration of the opposite sex.<\/p>\n Both male and female Cockatoos try to get the attention of the opposite sex\u2014the bird\u2019s version of flirting.<\/p>\n Cockatoos are known to use behaviors such as bobbing, nuzzling, whistling, and dancing<\/a> to get attention and show affection. In the wild, male Cockatoos perform elaborate courtship rituals like drumming on trees with specially crafted sticks, all to catch a female bird\u2019s eye.<\/p>\n In Albright\u2019s video, both Sweet Pea and Chief can be seen lifting the feathers on top of their heads, a ritual called raising the crest.
