TikToker @rosieandtheshelterpups is a volunteer at her local animal shelter and often shares heartwarming videos of the animals she cares for. But her latest post takes a different turn; it\u2019s hilariously adorable and a little bit vicious!<\/p>\n
Rosie spotted a few tiny kittens in one of the cages and decided to show them some love. But one kitten\u2019s reaction to her gentle pets has everyone cracking up. It\u2019s pretty clear that this little one wants absolutely nothing to do with her!<\/p>\n
Rosie<\/a> half-joked in the video’s caption, “What am I supposed to do after that?! Be gone!\u201d @Alyssa added, “‘Peasant! Back I say!’ – the kitten probably.” @shanacroc got more than 117k likes when they joked, \u201cIf water scares me, it probably scares you too…\u201d @Sama laughed and added, “The fact that the kitten had to stand on two legs for that!”<\/p>\n Many kittens, and animals of all ages, for that matter, show signs of stress in shelter environments. It\u2019s a noisy, busy place with lots of unfamiliar sights, smells, and sounds. Some kittens and young animals may have never had contact with humans before arriving at the shelter, and that lack of socialization can make them extra fearful and wary<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Wisconsin Humane Society<\/a> notes that it\u2019s best to give these animals space<\/a> and let them approach you when they\u2019re ready.
