They&#8217;re rarely ever trying to make everyone say, &#8220;aww,&#8221; but that&#8217;s exactly what they end up doing\u2014so don&#8217;t even bother applying!<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Loki, the <a href=\"https:\/\/paradepets.com\/tag\/golden-retriever\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Golden Retriever;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><strong>Golden Retriever<\/strong><\/a>, is the pup for the job, having proven his unconditional love and steadfast loyalty to his humans, particularly the newborn baby. He&#8217;s a dose of optimism, all sunshine and roses, and the best big brother to his human <a href=\"https:\/\/paradepets.com\/pet-news\/golden-retriever-ecstatic-for-new-puppy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:siblings;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">siblings<\/a> (as long as he gets to keep the blanket)!<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">To prepare Loki for a <a href=\"https:\/\/paradepets.com\/pet-news\/golden-retriever-gets-first-giggles-from-infant\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:newborn baby;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">newborn baby<\/a>, Mom and Dad offered the good boy the baby&#8217;s hospital blanket. Since it had the little one&#8217;s scent all over it, Loki could connect the comfort of that blanket with her once she came home. As you can see, he took the responsibility of caring for the treasured blanket and the <a href=\"https:\/\/paradepets.com\/pet-news\/chocolate-labrador-claims-human-infant-as-her-baby\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:infant;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">infant<\/a> seriously!<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">With his first day on the job, he wasn&#8217;t about to fail and showed his parents he not only approved of a new baby, but quietly, he <a href=\"https:\/\/paradepets.com\/pet-news\/german-shepherd-doesnt-do-gentle-parenting-schools-foster-pup\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:promised to be as gentle;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">promised to be as gentle<\/a> with her as he was with the blanket.
