Cats and dogs are supposed to be enemies, but the truth is, they can get along just fine. As long as you follow all of the rules, introduce them slowly, and supervise, it’s pretty hard for something to go wrong.<\/p>\n
Hard, sure, but not necessarily impossible. For one Golden Retriever<\/a>, all it took was a single swat for him to swear off the family kitten forever. His mom chose that name for a few reasons:<\/p>\n He looks a little bit quilted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n It’s perfect for him. Up close, he’s very handsome, too. I would let him swat me and not run away!<\/p>\n He looks perfectly nice. He looks like he would love to befriend Murphy if Murphy would quit running away!<\/p>\n Golden Retrievers are often regarded as one of the best, most versatile dogs in the world, and they are. However, it’s important to remember that they require extensive training to keep them happy and healthy.<\/p>\n Although Golden Retrievers can be social, outgoing, and playful, they require proper socialization to reach their full potential. That might include:<\/a><\/p>\n Enrollment in doggy daycare.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Neighborhood dog playdates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Socialization with their siblings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n Exposure to cats is best at a young age, too.
