Looks like someone isn’t a morning person. Video of a bear waking up after hibernating all winter is so adorable. The little guy looks like he had the best night’s sleep. His slightly disheveled appearance is all of us right after waking up from the best nap. It looks like the bear might need a comb!

In all fairness, wouldn’t you look a little rough after sleeping for five months straight? The bear had every right to looking a little messy, he’d just woken up after all.

I don’t know about you, but I could stand a little hibernation myself. Just imagine sleeping for five whole months! I can’t even imagine stopping for a nap, let alone almost a half a year. This is why bears are truly so special. Their ability to sleep that long makes them unique. It also gives them one hell of a bed head, which is the situation that the bear found himself in.

Related: Nearly-Blind 40-Year-Old Bear Has Most Tender Reaction to Being Played Music

Awwww, he looks so sleepy. Bears store up their fat in the summer so that they can hibernate all winter long. They eat during the warm summer months when there’s plenty of food around and then live off their fat stores in the winter when there is less available food around.
