Some people don’t believe that cats are good with kids. To be honest, I was one of them for a long time: as soon as my sister was born, our family cat literally ran away. I was so sad, and I still never let her forget it!<\/p>\n
One Maine Coon cat has proved everyone wrong, though. She’s not just good with her baby sibling; she needs him. The two of them love to be together whenever they can, and it’s everything their mom ever wanted:<\/p>\n
Doja the Maine Coon Cat<\/a> is nicer to her baby sibling than I was to mine! She was so curious about him, too. The way she reaches her paw out for him in the first clip is everything, and in the second clip, he does it back.<\/p>\n Now that he’s older, Doja likes him even better. He can follow her around instead of her having to go to him, and now, he can drop food on the floor. Ghost enjoys the human baby too, but not nearly as much as Doja!<\/p>\n Doja, her human siblings, and her other kitty sibling bond all the time. Recently, though, her mom has discovered that nothing brings them all together quite like the Roomba:<\/p>\n I think this proves that Maine Coons are just huge toddlers. I’ve never seen someone so enchanted by the robot vacuum!<\/p>\n While each individual cat will obviously feel differently about kids, Maine Coons as a breed tend to be pretty good with kids. As long as you make sure that your kids are respecting their boundaries, all should be well.<\/p>\n That means:<\/p>\n No invading the cat’s personal space when they need some alone time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Luckily, Doja’s parents ensure that all of her boundaries and needs are met.
