If your dogs are anything like mine, they love to rescue things that were absolutely not in need of rescue. Mine are big into rescuing my socks, my slippers, the things that fall under my bed… It never ends.<\/p>\n
One Golden Retriever<\/a> has mastered this art just as well as my dogs have. Recently, he was on a walk when he found a bag of Goldfish crackers on the sidewalk. You best believe he rescued it as soon as he saw it:<\/p>\n Max the Golden Retriever<\/a> is perfect in every sense of the word. He falls into my favorite category of dog: “if they’re grey, they get their way.” My oldest boy is 10, and I say that at least twice a day.<\/p>\n Max is only 7, but he’s already got the perfect powdered sugar face. It makes him look like a very distinguished gentleman, and it’ll only get better as he ages! For now, though, he’s young and rescues:<\/p>\n Mom, several times a day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Random bags of Goldfish he finds on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n I don’t have any idea where the world would be without him. He likes to make sure he’s moving around, and his mom has really helped with that. In that clip, you can see him wearing little booties!<\/p>\n That’s not all, though. He sometimes gets to wear a special jacket outside, and it helps. He likes rolling around in the snow! The jacket offers very stylish protection:<\/p>\n He’s amazing. I bet his walks take forever.<\/p>\n Max is not letting that bag of Goldfish go without a fight, that’s for sure. Lucky for him, he probably got to have at least a couple! Goldfish, which are baked cheese crackers, are considered safe for dogs.<\/p>\n A few Goldfish won’t hurt, but you shouldn’t offer them too many.<\/a> Goldfish are salty and have some additives that can cause stomach upset. You should avoid:<\/p>\n Dipping the crackers in anything before giving them to them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Giving them “flavor-blasted” versions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Using Goldfish as a replacement for regular dog treats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Max probably only got to have a few, and that’s all he needs. Good job rescuing them, Max!
