The Best of Breed judging took place over two days\u2014February 2 and 3\u2014at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Best in Show award was decided by a single judge, David Fitzpatrick, who selected from among the winners of the seven different groups.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">A Win for the Girls<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Penny is a striking dog with sleek black-and-brown fur and a formidable attitude. This award included a $10,000 Junior Showmanship Finalists Scholarship for the college or technical school of his choice.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">What\u2019s Next for Penny?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Now that she has scored this big win, Penny is retiring! Her co-owner Theresa Connors-Chan told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DUWuDwAiOGC\/?img_index=5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Entertainment Tonight,;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><em>Entertainment Tonight<\/em>,<\/a> \u201cPenny\u2019s going to retire from showing and become a certified therapy dog, because she loves to be pet so much. This is the Super Bowl of dog shows.
