Outside of hunting I also use the TT25 to keep tabs on my dog at home. On my Alpha 200i handheld I can set up a geofence that alerts me when my dog leaves a set perimeter. On more than one occasion that notification let me know my dog got out. If he escapes at night or if he\u2019s just hiding somewhere in the yard, I can turn on the collar\u2019s beacon light. If you\u2019re using the TT25 at home and in the field you\u2019ll need to charge it every night, but you can buy an optional extended battery that pushes battery life to around 136 hours.\u00a0For training, the collar gives 18 levels of continuous or momentary stimulation.<\/p>\n
I tested it on my hand and it goes from a barely noticeable tickle to a zap that, while isn\u2019t painful, will get your attention. The broad range of stimulation means you can choose the lowest level needed to get your desired response. You can also choose different levels of stimulation for constant and momentary modes. I use the tone to recall my dog and it\u2019s a nice loud beep that I can hear from a distance.
