The toy appears to be a fluffy bird attached to an elastic string. Simple enough. But what these cats turned it into is nothing short of a full-blown athletic event.<\/p>\n One cat grabs the dangling bird in their mouth and stretches the elastic as far as it will go, sometimes even pulling it around corners,\u00a0building suspense like a pitcher winding up. Then, release!<\/p>\n The toy springs back toward the ceiling, bouncing wildly as the cats chase it down.
