As it turns out, PetMD<\/em> says these working dogs can grow<\/a> to be upward of 25.5 to 27.5 inches tall at the shoulder for males and 23.5 to 25.5 inches for females. Weight-wise, females might grow to be 55 to 90 pounds, and the males even heavier.<\/p>\n These powerful yet sweet dogs start to slow down with growing at around 12 months and are fully grown by 18 months. These Schnauzers<\/a> were originally bred to be brave farm and home guardians, which makes their size something important.
