Lola, a 6-month-old Chocolate Lab puppy, searches for the perfect excuse when her mom points at her sandal on the living room floor and says, \u201cLola, what is that?\u201d<\/p>\n
We can clearly see the half-eaten leather shoe, with little pieces scattered across the carpet, so the evidence is pretty solid. Still, Lola\u2019s big, pleading puppy dog eyes tell a completely different story. Mom pans over to Lola with the camera and asks again, \u201cWhat is that?\u201d but the Labrador stands perfectly still, silently denying all the charges.<\/p>\n
Her back is a little hunched over, and she knows she\u2019s busted. Lola almost meets her mom\u2019s gaze but can\u2019t quite bring herself to make full eye contact. When her human finally says, \u201cWhat did you do?\u201d the sweet pup gives absolutely no response.
