Mostly, the Ragdoll cat wants to be the baby. When they find out that someone else is taking up a lot of your time, they’re not going to be so happy about it.

One Ragdoll cat is currently over the moon over his mama’s pregnancy… Mostly because she’s buying a ton of cool stuff for the baby and the baby isn’t actually here yet:

Perry and Annie are the best team ever. Soon enough, though, there will be a third, and things are definitely going to change. He believes heavily in the “I was the baby first” mentality, so he thinks all of these cool baby things are for him. For the moment, they are!

Unfortunately for her first baby, Annie will eventually have to evict him. Alternatively, she could get two swings… It just depends how dedicated she is to this baby of hers. For now, Perry seems to really love the baby swing. He’s making sure it’s nice and broken in for when the baby comes!

Related: Ragdoll Kitten Tries ‘Not To Wake the Baby’ and Fails So Cutely

Actually, since this video, his mom has had her baby! I hope they only get closer from here!

Is Cat Fur Safe For Babies?

If there’s one universal truth about cats, it’s that their hair knows no bounds. It will not be contained, no matter what. It’s even worse with super fluffy cats like Ragdolls, who have long furs that get everywhere. It’s so annoying, but it’s a small price to pay for a very pretty kitty!

Cat fur is usually okay for babies to be around, provided that they aren’t allergic. If they are, you might notice redness, swelling, or persistent itching. Even if it’s not necessarily dangerous, you should try to make sure they’re not around a lot of it, since being trapped with cat hair for long periods can make them itchy.

Just lint roll and you’ll be good.
