Though Mom never thought to gift Corn a ball, he clearly knew exactly what to do with it\u2014and look at that soccer-level footwork!<\/p>\n Having followed Corn’s journey from the start, it’s a wonderful thing to see him so excited about every new toy, activity, or interaction. The funny feline recently enjoyed a legendary vacation in Lisbon, where he did all the sightseeing in style. For the runt with the biggest eyes<\/a>, I think this adventure was a huge hit.<\/p>\n Corns wobbly ways are actually a noncontagious, nonprogressive neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia<\/a> (CH). This is when the part of the brain that controls balance and coordination (the cerebellum) is underdeveloped at birth. Since the brain stops growing, it remains in an immature state.<\/p>\n The result is a “wobbly” kitty<\/a> whose movements are jerky and cartoonish, sometimes with tremors or falling over, but it doesn’t worsen over time.<\/p>\n The severity of this condition depends on how far along in development the kitten is in utero before<\/em> Mom is infected with the viral infection that causes it. Then, she may pass it down to unborn babies.<\/p>\n The good news is that Corn is thriving and living his best life.
