While I wish we could tell her it&#8217;s just a movie, nothing is more emotional and heartfelt than watching this sweet dog go through the emotional rollercoaster like the rest of us. Which movie had our little Poppy so emotional? Only the 2021 live-action remake of C<em>lifford the Big Red Dog<\/em>. During one of the movie&#8217;s more emotional scenes, Poppy couldn&#8217;t help but shed a few tears and let out a few sighs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>Related: Dog Mom Shows Reality of Trying to Skip the &#8216;Cheese Tax,&#8217; and It&#8217;s a Hilarious Warning to All Pet Parents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Without giving too much away, the scene showcases a young Clifford, abandoned and sad, something that clearly struck a chord with Poppy. Just at the beginning of the movie, Poppy wasn&#8217;t having it. Between her cries, Poppy&#8217;s human reassured her that everything would be OK and that it was just a movie. However, this little Boxer is clearly just an empathetic pup who didn&#8217;t like seeing a sad dog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The comment section was also in distress, with many agreeing with Poppy and others absolutely heartbroken. &#8220;Omg!! Amazing, he realizes the poor doggy was left behind. I would start crying also,&#8221; commented one user. Another viewer also added their take with &#8220;Can&#8217;t watch those kinds of movies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While we also very much agree with not wanting to watch sad dogs in movies, we hope Poppy got to enjoy the rest of her movie night without too much stress.
