Petey is an American Bulldog<\/a> who was rescued by his mom, Erin. While he was living in the shelter, Petey barked a lot, and so they put a bark collar on him to get him to stop. Not only did he stop barking, but he also went completely silent.<\/p>\n Petey had learned not to use his voice, and for the first few months in his new home, he didn’t make any sounds at all. Around the third month there, knowing he was safe and that his humans loved him, he started using his voice again. Now, Petey “sings” anytime he gets in the car and sometimes randomly at home, too.
