Helping your dog heal after surgery can be a challenge, but sometimes, it’s even harder to get them to rest than it is to juggle the aftercare and medication they might require when they come home. Plenty of pups out there won’t let being a little uncomfortable (or even wearing an e-collar) stop them\u2014if they need to play, they’re going to find a way to do it.<\/p>\n
So I’m not surprised at all to see that the Greyhound in the video below was bound and determined to get his zoomies out… even if he was allowed way<\/em> less space to do so than he is when he’s healthy!<\/p>\n This pup’s mom, @attaboy_arthur<\/a>, showed the tiny space Arthur was allowed to use in the yard during his recovery from surgery. Of course, this is a Greyhound we’re talking about, so a pretty big dog, but he didn’t let that stop him from zooming around just like he wanted.<\/p>\n The good news? Arthur seems to be happy, even though having much less activity until he’s fully healed from surgery can’t be a fun experience for him. Mini zoomies are better than no zoomies at all!<\/p>\n Related: Dog Dad Lies to His Italian Greyhound, and Someone Is Not Happy<\/strong><\/p>\n After watching the video of Arthur’s mini zoomies, people had a lot of questions about his surgery and his recovery, and fortunately, his mom returned with a video update to fill everyone in.<\/p>\n They discovered that Arthur was born with a tethered spinal cord, so he had to undergo surgery to correct it.
