The video opens with the on-screen line, “How I ended up with 3 cats without eyes,” and then introduces three blind cats — Beifong, Seymour, and Mugi — living their best, most adorable lives. In the caption, the creator writes, “Blind cats are so underrated” — and judging by the comment section, a lot of people agree.

3 cats play hard and love harder in adorable TikTok

The video by @dear.figg walks viewers through how the three special needs cats came together. Seymour’s story starts in 2023, when the creator says they found his listing online and learned he had spent three years in rescue with no adoption applications. When she went to meet him, she found out he had an “identical brother,” so the creator adopted both of them. She named the two blind feline siblings Beifong and Seymour.

Later, the creator came across a blind kitten named Mugi on a rescue page and brought her home only weeks later, even though she lived 2,500 miles away. In the video, the creator explains Mugi “was born with feline viral rhinotracheitis” and likely lost her sight just days after birth.

Meanwhile, Beifong and Seymour’s blindness came from another heartbreaking start. The video notes that they “were born with eyes, but no eyelids to protect them” due to a condition called “Eyelid Agenesis,” and their eyes eventually became infected and needed to be removed.

And yet, what you see most in the footage is not tragedy. The video shows the three special needs cats doing normal cat stuff, including wrestling, swatting at toys, charging around the house, and even hopping onto a giant cat wheel. As the creator reassured, “Don’t worry, though, they’re still just regular cats.” And the video makes a strong case for that.

Moreover, the cats’ human also appealed to viewers to consider adopting a feline fur baby with special needs. Consequently, many in the comments section shared their own cats’ stories, with one even stating, “I think this proves cats are magic.” Another added, “Not trying to be dramatic but I’d die for them.”

Beifong, Seymour, and Mugi’s stories evidently touched netizens’ hearts, with the video garnering 40.7K likes.

The post These 3 Special Needs Cats Are No ‘Different’ Than Others appeared first on CatTime.

A TikTok video from @dear.figg shows three cats with special needs proving that they are no “different” than regular ones.
