Dogs sometimes need a few moments \u2014 or days \u2014 to warm up to a new fur baby sibling. When we brought home our Pug mix, our senior Dachshund<\/a> wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a baby brother. She kept her distance for a while (even though he followed her everywhere), but soon, she couldn’t resist his adorable personality and now the two are besties.<\/p>\n Boomer the Samoyed didn’t seem to have the same hesitation when he met his puppy<\/a> sister Diya for the first time. Maybe the strong, furry family resemblance helped pave the way.<\/p>\n Diya arrived in a wicker basket as she was carried into her new home. The poofy puppy looked more like a massive cotton ball than a canine, thanks to her ultra-soft layers of feathery white fur. The TikTok from @life.with.a.landcloud showed the meeting unfold.<\/p>\n “The much-anticipated Boomer meeting his baby sister,” the caption explained.<\/p>\n Boomer couldn’t contain his excitement and didn’t even wait for his mom to set the basket down. He ran right over and jumped up to sniff his little sis.<\/p>\n Once the pooches’ mom placed the basket on the floor, Boomer immediately gave Diya hugs and kisses as his tail went into nonstop wag mode. The two canines embraced, overcome by the tender family moment.<\/p>\n Boomer and Diya looked exactly alike except for size. They resembled a giant cloud and a baby cloud that merged to make one giant ball of white, powdery fluff. Their lush double coats seemed to have no definitive outline, where their legs and ears disappeared into what looked like a giant puff of snow. When they were close together, it was hard to tell where Boomer ended and Diya began.<\/p>\n Related: Golden Retriever Puppy Refusing to Sleep in Crate Brings the Cutest Toddler Energy<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Followers fell in love with the fluffy family members and saw that they had an immediate bond.<\/p>\n “Big cloud meets a small cloud,” someone noted.<\/p>\n “The definition of ‘heartwarming’,\u201d another remarked.<\/p>\n “Two land clouds \u2014 this is too adorable,” a follower posted.<\/p>\n “They’re soooo FLUFFY!” someone gushed.<\/p>\n Boomer stepped right into his big brother role, much to Diya’s delight.
