An Instagram video from @itslifewithshepherds shows two German Shepherds<\/a>, Lucy and Charlie, following what the creator calls their official daily duties with the family\u2019s toddler \u2014 and it plays like a workplace training video. In this case, however, the office is a playroom, and the manager is a tiny kid with lots to do.<\/p>\n The video\u2019s on-screen caption says, \u201cMy dogs official \u2018to-do\u2019 list for the day.\u201d From there, the video breaks the day into steps, and first up is \u201cGet a debrief from the tiny CEO,\u201d which involves one of the German Shepherds<\/a> sitting nearby as the toddler flips through a book.<\/p>\n Then, the next task is to \u201cApprove the new building materials,\u201d which entails the toddler standing near a shelf of toys and books, holding up an item for inspection as one of the dogs sniffs, as if a stamp of approval is needed before a construction job begins.<\/p>\n Following this, one of the dogs is shown getting \u201cpaid for emotional labour.\u201d As the toddler eats, she drops bits of food to the floor, and the dog handles cleanup with the speed and dedication of an employee who wants to impress their boss. Finally, the shift ends with, \u201cCheck out for the day,\u201d showing one of the dogs finally resting.<\/p>\n The caption under the video jokes, \u201cEmployee of the month, every single month. The job is tough, but there are some great perks!\u201d<\/p>\n Commenters on the video called it \u201ca tough gig,\u201d crowned the toddler the \u201cTiny CEO,\u201d and said it was \u201cthe most important job,\u201d with one viewer writing, \u201cWe should go to that house.
