Golden Retriever puppies may be the kind of puppy everybody and their mama seem to covet, but make no mistake, they’re not quite as sweet as they seem. They are, at times, but they’re also some of the most difficult puppies.<\/p>\n
At least they don’t hiss, right? Hissing is for snakes! For most Golden Retriever puppies, that’s true… Except for this one. Recently, he discovered he could hiss, and it was absolutely hilarious:<\/p>\n
Rigs, the Golden Retriever<\/a>, is such a brat, but it works for him. Human toddlers often go through a hissing phase, too, and it’s not nearly as cute as when dogs do it. Both of them bite, too!<\/p>\n Rigs definitely bites. He’s just 4 months old, and he already has thousands of followers on TikTok. He’s allergic to keeping his tongue in his mouth, which is one of the major things everyone has fallen in love with. That’s a skill that all puppies learn, and they carry it into adulthood like it means the world to them!<\/p>\n Prime noodle time:<\/p>\n That’s a spaghetti boy if I’ve ever seen one. Al dente as can be!<\/p>\n Rigs is exhibiting a really strange behavior here, but don’t worry, he’s totally OK. This was just a weird thing he did once or twice. It’s not a pattern… unless he makes it one because he knows they love it.<\/p>\n Dogs don’t hiss as regularly as cats do: to show that they’re afraid or upset, they typically bark or growl. However, they can sometimes hiss<\/a> in those circumstances. Additionally, pups might hiss if they’re in pain, and a hissing-like noise can also be indicative of a respiratory issue. If it happens more than once in a short period, you should contact your vet.<\/p>\n Lucky for Rigs, he’s all good. He’s just a very dramatic boy!
