In Maine Coons<\/a>\u2014specifically all-black MCs\u2014blue eyes will eventually morph into gold, copper, or green sometime between 10 and 12 weeks of age. Typically, white cats or bicolor kitties are the ones who get to keep blue eyes, so Ruby is a miracle baby.<\/p>\n Those Black Cats<\/strong><\/a> lucky enough to get blue eyes that stay blue are considered extremely rare and against the Maine Coon<\/a> breed standard.
