A pet company has come up with a paw-some way to say thank you to hardworking delivery drivers this holiday season.
Greenies, known for its dental chews and treats for dogs and cats, has released limited-edition “pawliday helper” boxes, which can be gifted to local courier employees as they work nonstop, delivering gifts, cards and more throughout the end of the year.
The gift boxes are filled with branded apparel, including a tote bag, hat and sweatshirt, plus Greenie dental treats and anytime bites dog treats, as well as a blank thank-you card that can be personalized for the recipient.
“Delivery drivers are the everyday heroes of the holidays, tirelessly delivering gifts and holiday essentials throughout the season,” Greenies said in a statement, per a press release.
“Many drivers even go above and beyond the call of duty, purchasing dog treats out of their own pockets to foster moments of connection with dogs they meet along their routes,” the company continued.

A first batch of “pawliday helper” boxes have already sold out, but a second drop is expected to follow on Dec. 1.
The themed gift kits, for $10 each, will be shipped directly to households, allowing gifters to customize them as needed before presenting them to delivery drivers.
Greenies is also donating $10,000 to VCA Charities, a nonprofit organization that helps pets find their forever homes, to help animals in need.

“At the Greenies brand, we believe in celebrating the heartfelt moments of joyful connection that pets bring into our lives,” Matt Thompson, director of the company at Mars Pet Nutrition North America, said in a statement.
He added: “This year, we’re making it even easier to spread holiday cheer by honoring the delivery drivers who make the season possible. It is so special to see the bonds they share with our dogs and witnessing the small acts of kindness that connect drivers, pets and their families through tasty, jolly moments.”
