Woman Saw Her Dog Digging and Digging and Then a Face Pops Out of the Ground

We had a foster dog we nicknamed “Bob The Builder” (after the popular kids show) because every time we let him out in the yard, he’d resume construction on some project he’d undertaken out there. Kicking up dirt over here, digging deep holes over there, rearranging plants right where we’d just put new ones. We’d see him all covered in dirt, working hard and automatically start singing the theme song: “Can he build it? Yes, he can!” Redirecting that dog was a full-time job!

This Mom feels my pain. Her dog, an American Bully named Gemma Lou, was working and digging in an attempt to tunnel her way under their backyard fence. She’s whimpering and looking at Mom with those adorable pleading eyes. I think the literal dog to human translation is “Would you mind grabbing a shovel and helping out? SHEESH.”

In this case, Gemma Lou has a brilliant master plan that Mom is privy to the whole time. And in this video, we get to see the fruits of her labor. I won’t ruin the surprise. Take a look.

Awww, Rocky! I love how frustrated she seems to get. She’s like “He can get his head over. We just need the rest of him!” LOL. They are going to have some fun times once they can finally figure out how to finish this whole thing up.

Viewers are clamoring for these two to finish this project successfully so everyone can see the results, “It’s been 4 hours, is the doggy door done yet?! I need to see them play.” Another said, “Omg you have to make a video when they get to meet!” The audience has spoken!

Also, plenty of people had ideas for improvements, “I believe you’ll need to now add some beautiful cut out windows in the fence. I don’t make the rules.” Someone else recommended, “If you’re friends with your neighbors, they need a doggie door, plain and simple.”

I do have an update but, sadly, it’s not what everyone wants to hear. Construction is SLOW. Despite two dogs working, not much progress had been made when this video was taken the next day:

Looks like Rocky can stick two arms and his entire head through, but that’s about it. Either these two are going to have to step up their efforts, or they are going to require some human intervention, LOL.
