Labrador’s Adorable Chatter Sounds Like He’s Stapling Papers

Dogs may not realize how much joy they bring by being their funny selves, but it’s not something that should ever be taken for granted. They have a gift, bringing sunshine and laughs with some of their silly behaviors.

Just ask Fingers. The Labrador has the cutest teeth chatters I’ve ever heard when he’s excited—it sounds like he’s working a 9-5 office job where his sole duty is stapling piles of papers!

My favorite thing about dogs is that they’re just being themselves. Their quirks are what make them so endearing, and Fingers made his reputation on things like this. Please, turn up the volume for the sweetest ASMR around!

The funny 8-second clip jokes, “Please, he’s been stapling nonstop for the last 3 days,” with Mom asking fans to stop asking Fingers to do any more work, because he’s “starting to run out of staples!” There’s so much going on in such a short video; it’s comedy gold!

Thanks to his winning personality, Fingers has hundreds of fans, new and old, weighing in on his stapling talents—and there are quite a few famous accounts in the mix.

“What are we supposed to do with all these papers…?” the @weratedogs account joked. “At this rate, we’re promoting him to Employee of the Month,” @staples added. “But… I have one more thing that needs to be stapled,” @playdoh wrote.

The Labrador with nearly 23k fans on TikTok has gone viral many times over for his precious chatters. One time, he got so excited for the taste of cheese, he couldn’t control himself!

Why Dogs Chatter

There’s little in life that’s cuter than a pup like Fingers chattering his teeth. A few reasons for it include excitement (obviously), the anticipation of something they’re waiting for, smelling something interesting (which is called the Flehmen response), or being cold.

There are also some health concerns that can trigger the response, like anxiety, dental issues, or neurological conditions. But most cuties chatter out of the joy and excitement of getting to staple so many papers!
