The holidays bring both joy and stress to families every year. Having a lot of personalities under one roof can be a lot of fun while it also brings its challenges. If you’re having overnight guests, that adds a whole other layer of logistics and finding enough space for everyone.
This furry feline clearly showed his frustration when he discovered his sleeping quarters had been given to a visiting relative.
In the TikTok from @ridgehavenranch, the black and gray cat was storming around the house and vocalizing his serious complaints.
“POV: Home for the holidays and your parents’ *only child* is very very upset that his routine is disrupted,” the onscreen text explained, with the caption adding, “I was told it’s because I’m sleeping in HIS room.”
The young woman staying for the holiday tried to reason with the cat and reach some sort of mutual ground.
“What’s your beef?” she asked the cat. “It’s the holiday – can we just all get along?”
But the furious feline wouldn’t listen and continued to protest being put in such an unacceptable position. He continued to stomp around and released some extremely indignant meows to express his indignation.
What Was the Cat Saying?
Followers got a kick out of the cat’s sass and posted some comical comments on what he may have verbalized through those mad mews.
“‘They don’t even like you anymore. Get out!’” one guessed.
“She said, girl it’s time for you to leave,” another wrote.
“‘You’re not my real sister!’” a follower surmised.
“How dare you not get a hotel! That’s what I heard,” a person shared.

Others simply took the feline’s side and felt that the woman should find her own place to sleep.
“Girl, why aren’t you on the couch? That’s his room,” a fan pointed out.
“Could you just be considerate and mindful and sleep on the couch?” a user suggested.
“He made some good points,” someone remarked.
Hopefully these two will reach an understanding by Christmas.
