It’s officially the holiday season (whether you’re ready or not), and that means making sure everything’s good to go for Turkey Day. If you’re feeling panicked over that lengthy Thanksgiving to-do list and thinking about calling it off to order pizza and stay in your PJs, maybe you just need a little encouragement.
Have no fear, two English Bulldogs named Romero and Juliet are equipped with everything you need to feel inspired. Once you see their hilarious Pilgrim costumes, you’ll forget all about Plan B.

Blessings to @romeotheladykiller for sharing what I’ll say is *the* video to represent all our Thanksgiving dreams in just 14 seconds flat! Dogs in costumes is already a perfect category, but as Pilgrims—complete with the sewn-in human hands holding a pumpkin and corn, respectively, this is full-on fun!
This officially wins the holidays, hands down! Aside from the comical Pilgrim look, just being dramatic English Bulldogs means they have the attitude to pull off this scene. They know how to be their most theatrical selves, even just sporting a new fit—it’s why we love them so much!

Romeo and Juliet regularly entertain their more than 27k TikTok followers with their funny costumes. There are so many, it’s hard to choose a favorite. But this Mario and Luigi look went viral for good reason—look at how cute!
English Bulldogs Make the Best Actors
In general, pups like Romero and Juliet can easily channel their villain era with the snap of a paw. While they’re known to be sweet, friendly, and calm, English Bulldogs are often referred to as toddlers thanks to their overly dramatic, highly opinionated ways!
As many pet parents of these cuties will say, part of their allure is how stubborn they tend to be, especially when they’re not getting their way. Whether it’s about wanting more treats or the fact they’ve been told “no” about anything, the animated pooches are nothing if not adorable, moody, and irresistible companions that are always entertaining… even when having an epic meltdown.
And if you can dress them up as Pilgrims for the holidays, I have no doubt they’ll reluctantly comply (also, please share such events with all of us)!
