After a walk or a trip to the park, most dogs are eager to get out of their harnesses, the same way we humans can’t wait to kick off our shoes after a long day. But this Chihuahua named Jones doesn’t just casually step out of his harness… he races out of it!
The moment his mom unclips it, Jones launches into his signature exit move, and it is truly something to see. She even jokes that he holds the world record for fastest harness removal, and after watching this video, we honestly wouldn’t doubt it!
If the Guinness Book of World Records had a category for “Quickest Harness Dismount,” Jones would take home the trophy without question!

Funny Reactions to the Chihuahua’s Unique Way of Getting Out of His Harness
Commenters had funny things to say about Jones’ speedy harness dismount. @Rubensito cracked us up when he shared, “We’ve got competitive harness removals before universal healthcare…”
@DHARMA joked, “Harness fell off the bone, that’s tendernism.” @classichel shared, “I love how he freezes and waits for the unbuckle, LOL!” Jones’ mom replied, “So patient until it’s go time, lol!” @Brittany B cracked us up when she shared, “Mine did this and jumped in a lake. He ain’t been outside since.”
Commenter @missjenkies pointed out, “Pleaseeeee! They get so excited to go outside and then rip the harness off like it’s a sport, LOL!” @Mateo added, “Impressive!” and Jones’ mom replied, “He’s an athlete!”
We were surprised when @Angie asked, “Is this a Chihuahua thing? Mine does that, too!” and so many other paw-rents responded that theirs do it, too. Like @godlessmouse, who shared, “Every time my Chihuahua does something like this, I always tell him, ya know, that was super cool, LOL!” @7grand added, “My parents’ Chihuahua growls only AFTER you take the harness off. Not before, not during. After it’s off his body, LOL!”
We guess that Jones’ signature move wasn’t as unique as we thought it was!
