At this time of year, there’s no doubt that you’re busy planning your pet’s holiday photo shoot. And if you celebrate Hanukkah, you’re in luck! You too can get the perfect pet portrait for the holiday, just like one woman did for her Dachshund. The dog was such a star at his photo shoot. He really made the holiday a little brighter!
Hanukkah is known as the “festival of lights,” and this little guy certainly was a light all over the internet. Sprinkles is such a natural model. The Dachshund got the hang of being in front of the camera instantly.
Sprinkles’ mama took her camera with her as she revealed the process of getting her Dachshund his photos taken at JCPenney. The woman and her Doxie came dressed in their Hanukkah pajamas and then it was showtime.

“Sprinkles is a professional model, not actually, but he’s been posing for my phone for the last four years, so he was really good in front of the camera,” she explained in the voice over. What’s more, the dog mom even brought her pup his own yarmulke — perfect for a Hanukkah photo shoot. She picked blue and white backgrounds for the photos. So cute!
In the end, the dog mom was so happy with her photos and so were people in the comments section who were absolutely tickled by the end results.
“This is the Hanukkah content I’ve been waiting for!” wrote one pearson in the comments section.
“Dog Hanukkah photoshoots are my new favorite videos! Sprinkles is such a pro!” another commenter cheered.
“Mazel tov! Obsessed,” gushed a third person.
While another commenter asked a very important question: “Did he have a bark mitzvah?” they wondered.
