Adding a new baby to the family can be a joyous occasion and not just for the human family members. Our pet family members are also happy to welcome these little ones into their lives. One horse on TikTok is showing audiences just how excited our animal friends can be when introduced to a new addition.
Recently, @jk_lewis gave viewers a look at a very special moment for their family. In the on-screen video text, they explained that the baby was “meeting his four-legged sister for the first time.” And if this initial visit between baby bro and his horse sister is any indicator of the future, these two are going to have an amazing bond.
Talk about being smitten! This horse is beyond delighted to have another baby in the family, and you can tell by how she’s acting toward him. As shown in the video, mom brings baby to meet this horse, and the horse is thrilled. She gently nuzzles her human sibling over and over, and it’s the sweetest thing! In the video post caption, mom wrote, “I wouldn’t trade her for the world.” And it’s abundantly clear why looking at this beautiful interaction. This horse is a sweetheart!

And viewers couldn’t help but be touched by this horse’s affection as many of them commented on her kisses. Along with how cute the clip was, others chimed in on how this horse taking her big sister role seriously. When talking about how she was with the baby, @amberuana said, “She knows the baby is new! That’s why she’s licking you; she’s trying to help ‘clean [him].’ Love this for you! Congrats!” She’s already overprotective of her brother.
Mom agreed and replied back, “The part where she nudged his butt, I told her, ‘he just pooped,’ so she was probably telling me he was stinky.” Well, she just looking out for him!
Horses Can Develop Strong Bonds With Babies
Many horses have been known to make strong connections with humans. As you can see this horse cares for her human family members. But the relationship between mom and baby bro may have even started before this intro. Commenter @purplerowz asked, “…Did she rest her head on your belly when you were pregnant?” And @jk_lewis answered, “Yes! [She did] with all four of my pregnancies. I have a video of her doing it with my third on my page.” Check out this tender throwback moment!
She really loves her human siblings! One thing for sure is that this family is lucky to have her, and those kids are going to have some great memories with their horse sister.
