Yellow Labrador Steals Elf From Shelf and Heads Straight to the Pool

It’s December, and everyone wants to know whether they’re on Santa’s naughty or nice list. One Yellow Labrador’s position is now officially in question thanks to his recent shenanigans involving an Elf on the Shelf doll and the family swimming pool. He even roped his brother into the chaos.

Purdy is adventurous, playful, and a bit of a wrecking ball on four paws! In a recent TikTok video shared by @bustersworld4, viewers get a clear picture of just how naughty this Lab has been when it comes to the Elf this week!

At the beginning of the clip, Mom is seen blow-drying the Elf while a suspiciously guilty-looking Purdy lurks in the background. She then shares a compilation of exactly how the situation unfolded—and honestly, it’s impossible not to laugh.

The Labrador literally jumped up so he could reach the Elf, which was perched in the middle of the Christmas tree. Purdy takes off running as Mom chases after him, warning. “Don’t you dare, Purdy!” But it’s too late—he snatches the doll and heads for the yard.

It didn’t take long before the Elf landed in the pool, with Purdy happily playing a game of fetch as if it were just another pool toy. His brother, Buster, stands nearby watching as this all plays out right in front of him.

In the next clip, Mom tries to rescue the Elf, saying, “Listen, the Elf is Santa’s helper. We’re not kidnapping him today!”

Unfortunately, the pups continue their game of keep-away while Mom attempts to reason with them. Finally, she gives up trying and declares, “Santa has just put you two on the ‘absolutely not’ list!”

Over 500 Viewers Reacted to Purdy’s Theft

Of course, the comment section was filled with comedy gold, including:

“Look, about 99.9% of the kids and adults are on the dogs’ side… that Elf is a menace!”

“Elves cause trouble!!! They are just trying to get ahead of it.”

“They are making sure that snitch doesn’t tell on them.”

One thing’s for sure—if given the opportunity, this Elf might request a transfer next year!
