Bossy Longhaired Dachshund Throws Dramatic Bathroom Tantrum To Force Mom Out

Anyone with dogs knows there’s rarely a time you can move throughout the house without them right behind you. Like the cutest, clingiest little shadows, they don’t ask permission to invade your space, and they’re not sorry one bit.

Finn, the Dachshund, proves my point by forbidding Mom from having even a few minutes to herself while she goes to the bathroom. The funny pup not only lets himself and sister Penny right in to supervise, but Finn throws one of his legendary tantrums to tell Mom to hurry up!

In all fairness, dogs make the rules, and we’re just here to serve them. Mom should know better than to have the audacity to leave them for a quick bathroom trip! Of course, they’re coming, too (and Finn will show his deep sadness and betrayal over it).

I don’t know a dog parent on the planet whose pups don’t feel they have the right to go wherever we go, mine included! But it’s Finn’s epic toddler-style tantrum that sends it over the edge. He deserves some kind of medal for his dedication to method acting!

Finn’s Claim to Fame Are Those Funny Fits

When you’re a Longhaired Miniature Dachshund whose favorite mood is “absolutely not,” you’re bound to go viral at some point. Finn and Penny have a cool 41k TikTok followers and more than 6.3 million likes over the history of their posts. The common theme among all the clips with tons of views usually has to do with Finn’s award-worthy protests!

But it’s this video from October 2024 that landed Finn in mega-viral land as he showcased his sassy, feisty, and downright spicy personality when things didn’t go his way (and even when Mom laughed at him in the process)!

This is one opinionated pup who likes things a certain way. If Mom doesn’t comply right away, he has no issue making his feelings known—it’s why we love him! Finn won’t always get to go where Mom goes, but I have no doubt that whatever happens, the comical boy will have another dramatic meltdown for one reason or another!
