These Are Aldi’s 2025 Christmas Hours

Christmas is officially here, and that means lots of barking around the Christmas tree and plenty of tail wagging, toy thrashing fun. With the holly jolly festivities right around the corner, you’re probably juggling several tasks and trying to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch, including making sure Milo is taken care of. That means getting him groomed, picking out his best outfit and filling his stocking with plenty of toys and treats to spare.

With so much to focus on, though, it’s inevitable that it might slip your mind to grab Fido’s favorite kibble or even something to drop into their stocking. If you do find yourself needing to pick up a last-minute bag of food or a chew toy for Rex, you might be asking: Is Aldi open on Christmas Day? Luckily, you’ve sniffed out the right place to find the answer. Although Aldi isn’t primarily a pet store, they do a fantastic job of stocking up on quality goods and treats that are perfect for your furry companion.

Is Aldi Open on Christmas Day?

It’s probably a good idea to check with your local store to be on the safe side before you go, but as long as you’re not racing in right at closing time, you should be good to go. Unfortunately, if you forgot to fill Princess the Yorkie’s stocking and don’t realize until Christmas Day, you’ll have to try another store and see if they’re open. Christmas is one of the four holidays that Aldi closes its doors for the year so all Aldi locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

While that does mean you won’t be able to grab Tofu a last-minute sweater to put on for the family photo, those big puppy dog eyes are plenty cute enough. Thankfully, Aldi will reopen during regular business hours on Dec. 26, so you can grab whatever treats and items you need if you didn’t make it in time before Christmas. How’s that for something to bark about? Happy Howl-idays!
