There is nothing like the holidays to bring families together.
And also to give a lot of gifts to your dog!
That is what is happening in this new video from influencer Abby Baffoe. Her mother has come to visit, which means Lady, the Dachshund puppy, is going to get some awesome gifts.
And she did indeed! In the video, we see that Lady’s grandmother has gotten her none other than a 3-foot-long Dachshund toy from HomeGoods.
Lady, of course, goes crazy for the toy that is actually bigger than her!
Baffoe cannot stop laughing as the toy almost looks like it could be a snake; it’s so long!

Why Are Dachshunds All Over Retail Right Now?
Dachshunds are having a major moment in retail right now.
Not only are they the “it” dog on social media, often featured in the arms of young female influencers, but now it seems they are the aesthetic inspiration for a lot of retailers.
One prime example is Anthropologie. The retailer featured them on everything from sweaters, like this cashmere one, to shirts and tote bags, as well as mugs and beaded bags.
And clearly, HomeGoods is also getting in on the fun with this massive toy.
Dachshunds and their oblong shape have made it into high fashion, too.
Fellow influencer, Halley Kate, mom to four Dachshunds, recently posted a video of her walking all the dogs while carrying the stunning Pebble Grain Hector Bag by Thom Browne, which is a beautiful leather bag in the shape of a Dachshund.

It is quite the statement piece.
Browne’s very own Dachshund, Hector, served as the inspiration behind this incredible bag.
It retails for $2,580.
The Dachshund shape also makes for very cute bag charms. Baffoe purchased a Bottega Veneta bag featuring a Dachshund-shaped bag charm (which is the main reason she got the bag).
