When a Black Labrador’s human checked in on her pup and the family’s new shelter dog through her home’s camera system while she was at work, she was privy to a genuinely sweet moment that shows the power and love of dogs. One commenter calls the Black Labrador an “angel.”

In a charming video, the new rescue pup can be seen quietly sitting in his bed with just a blanket on hand for comfort. Seeing this the Black Labrador eases its way in and sits down next to the other dog. The lonely rescue relaxes and nuzzles its nose into the Labrador before putting its paw on the other dog’s. The two nestle into a cuddle and the rescue immediately relaxes under the Black Labrador’s loving gesture.
“They should be friends forever 🥲 I know it’s part of fostering but ugh this hurts and warms my heart!” shared one commenter. ANother added, “My heart dude, dogs are literally angels”
“If I was at work watching this I would take the rest of the day off!” confessed another.

The Loving Nature of Black Labradors
While Black Labradors are known to be social and affable with other dogs, this pooch’s sweetness goes above and beyond the expected behavior of the loving breed. This dog has one big heart. The way this pup notices the rescue needs a friend and then acts on it is so incredibly heartwarming and sweet, it’s no wonder the pup’s humans didn’t heed the advice of the commenter who said they’d be missing the rest of the workday if they caught this scene on their security cameras.
